Quick tips to keep your account up-to-date

Alectra Utilities is committed to supporting our customers in managing their accounts conveniently and securely. We want to ensure you are aware of other ways to access your bill, get your account balance, and make a payment, especially during postal mail delays.

Three easy ways to get your account balance and due date 

You can view your bill online at your convenience, receive ebill notifications by email or text, or call our automated phone system to get your account balance quickly and easily.

My Alectra

  • Register and log in to My Alectra;
  • View your account balance and due date on the dashboard;
  • Go to Billing > My Current Bill to view your bill summary;
  • Download and save your bills in PDF format.

By Email

  • Opt in to paperless billing when you register for My Alectra; or
  • Log in to My Alectra, go to Account > Account Information, and click Enrol under Paperless Billing.
  • Go to Account > Notification Preferences to add up to two email addresses and two mobile phone numbers at which to receive ebill notifications.

By Phone

  • Call us at 1-833-253-2872 and press “2” for self-serve options;
  • Press “1” and follow the prompts to enter your 10-digit account number and street number.

Convenient payment options

Alectra Utilities offers many convenient payment options. Simply choose the method that suits you best.

Pre-authorized Payments

  • Log in to My Alectra and go to Billing > Pre-Authorized Payments (PAP).
  • Click on the Enrol in PAP button and complete the form with your banking information to make your monthly payments automatic.

Pay at your Bank or Financial Institution

  • Online, by telephone, or in-person.
  • Select Alectra Utilities Corporation as the payee.

Pay by Credit Card

  • Use our Make a Payment form; or
  • Log in to My Alectra and go to Billing > Pay My Bill to add a credit card to your profile.
  • 1.49% service fee will apply.

Overdue payments will still incur late fees, so we encourage you to use these alternatives. 

Once a payment is made, your remaining balance will be reflected in your account within 48-72 hours, depending on when your financial institution or credit card provider clears your payment.
