Severe Weather Warning: Alectra crews are prepared and ready to respond to outages

Stormy weather is moving through our service territory, with freezing rain, ice pellets and snow expected. From our control rooms to our line crews, our teams are prepared and ready to respond if outages occur.

Strong storms with freezing rain and ice can cause trees, branches or other objects to fall on power lines resulting in outages. We’re reminding customers to stay safe. If you see a downed power line, stay at least 10 metres away and call 911 immediately.

  • To report a power outage, call us at 1-833-253-2872 (Option 1) or use our online form or chat. Our System Control and Outage Call Centre are on duty 24/7 to respond to your report.
